Johnnieanne is the Chief Executive Officer of the Council of Industry. Since joining the Council in 2017, Ms. Hansen has spearheaded a number of strategic initiatives designed to strengthen the Mid- Hudson manufacturing sector and support business expansion. These include regional workforce training programs, expanding public-private partnerships, and programs to help manufacturers recruit, retain, and upskill talent. Under her leadership, the Council has launched and grown a Department of Labor sponsored apprenticeship program, created the Manufacturing Career Hub, and expanded leadership development, Lean Six Sigma and other training programs.
