About the Maritime and Defense Supply Chain Capacity Program
The MDSCCP program is designed to enable manufacturers to better compete in the Maritime and Defense industries through funding programs that will prepare them to comply with applicable certifications and increase awareness of new manufacturing technologies and broaden their knowledge of new component suppliers. Funded programs specifically include:
- Training and support to achieve compliance with ISO-9001:2015
- Training and support to achieve compliance with AS9100
- Training and support to achieve compliance with CMMC
- Training and support to achieve compliance with ITAR
- Evaluating new manufacturing technologies
- Identifying new component suppliers

Who is this program for?
- Small and medium-sized New York State manufacturers
- Current suppliers to the Maritime and Defense Industries
- Manufacturers interested in becoming suppliers to the Maritime and Defense Industries
How it Works

Services are delivered through the company’s local MEP center (find them here)

Awarded companies will receive funding for up to 80% of training or consulting costs, subject to the following caps:

ISO 9001 or AS9100 implementation:Â $12,800
- Cybersecurity:Â $6,500
- ITAR:Â $5,600
- Supplier Scouting:Â $4,000
- Technology Scouting:Â $4,000
- Funding for other services will be considered on a case-by-case basis

- Company must commit to participate in post-award project tracking and assessments
