The New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NY MEP) is continuing to have a major impact on manufacturing in New York State. As a newly released report explains, NY MEP helped the state’s manufacturers achieve $1.13B in cost savings, new and retained sales, and new investments during fiscal year 2023. During this same period, nearly 6,500 manufacturing jobs were created or retained.
NY MEP is a network of organizations that provide growth and innovation services to small and mid-sized manufacturers in every corner of the state. In concert with FuzeHub, the statewide NY MEP center, ten regional centers provide affordable services that help manufacturers overcome obstacles to growth. In the last five years, NY MEP has completed nearly 4,500 manufacturing projects.
