Success Story Powered by New York MEP Regional Center CITEC

Bombay, NY based Durbin Machine North, Inc. is a machine shop doing precision metal (and other materials such as Nylon) work for their clients.  Their services include CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Welding & Fabrication, Grinding and more.  The business was started by Bud Durbin in 1975 out of his basement and continues as a family business with sons Jeff and Gil in the North Country near Malone.  They do small to medium sized runs, replicate broken parts and prototyping for a many industries including automotive, aerospace and others.

Their business has historically been reliant on a small number of clients and Vice President Jeff Durbin recognized a need to acquire new and diversified clients to grow the business.  Working with their New York Regional MEP Center, CITEC, they decided to makeover their website with content clearly describing the services of Durbin Machine North and a contemporary logo implying their capabilities and building a brand identity.

We are easier to find, now that we have a website and a plan. I felt like I got something taken care of that I was not able to do before, and CITEC made it easy.

— Jeff Durbin, VP
