For the local New York Manufacturers to be included on this guide, they underwent a two-stage verification process:
Step One: verified by one of the New York State Manufacturing Extension Partnership centers, or by Thomas. The New York State Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NYMEP) is a network of 11 independent, not-for-profit organizations that assist small and mid-sized manufacturers throughout New York State in becoming more competitive. Through the CARES act, the NYMEP has granted PPE scaling and maximization grants to manufacturers across the state, after conducting a thorough review of their applications. You can identify the New York State PPE scaling and maximization grant recipients thanks to a blue check mark by their name in the sustainability marketplace sections.
Thomas is the leading product sourcing and supplier discovery platform in the US and Canada. The “Thomas Verified” supplier validation process confirms that the company operates in North America, provides accurate business information on the Thomasnet.com supplier discovery platform, has undergone a complete review and validation of all products and services currently offered, and is open to quoting new opportunities.
Step Two: Each manufacturer’s product, pricing, and information was verified to confirm legitimacy and dedication to producing PPE for New York State.
